The mosque was filled with a huge congregation greater than could fit within the limited space indoors. Yes, correct, I am talking about the Eid prayer observed the morning after the last fasting day of Ramadan. For many Muslims Eid prayer has a very special place; although it is not as obligatory as daily salat or the Friday prayer, there is always a higher attendance for this prayer than for any other occasion in the mosque. Perhaps only the Night of Power (laylat al-Qadr) can compete.
