Last Thursday, the Journalists' and Writers' Foundation distributed tolerance awards to 14 people from different social segments.

In spite of new understanding in modern times that renders borders between countries meaningless, destroys walls between ideologies, and draws beliefs closer to one another, hatred and enmity cannot be fully eliminated. In a world ruled by suffering and hatred, I especially want to underline this meaningful event. Even if it is symbolic, I hope that this type of behavior will be a vehicle for tolerance and togetherness.
