Ramadan DinnersThe Journalists and Writers Foundation did not suffice with sending its message to only the arts and media communities in Turkey. It also opened its arms to members of the other monotheistic religions who create Turkey's mosaic. Within this framework it gives breaking-of-the-fast dinners every Ramadan to members of the Greek Orthodox, Syriac, Armenian, Catholic Christian and Jewish communities. Thus our dinner's spectrum of tolerance is broadened to include members of other religions.

The Greek Orthodox Church patriarch, Bartholomeos, the head of the ancient Syriac Church, Yusuf Cetin, and the head of the Turkish Catholic Community, George Marovitch, are just a few of the guests that enliven our breaking-of-the-fast dinners every year.
