In this insightful book, Jill Carroll places the ideas of Fethullah Gülen into the context of the larger humanities. Specifically, she seeks to establish a textual dialogue between printed versions of selected articles, sermons, or speeches by Gülen, on the one hand, and the texts of selected thinkers, writers, philosophers, or theorists from general humanities discourse, on the other.
